Our Alumni - 2016

Sensassure is a healthcare technology company transforming senior care.

The company’s first product, talli, is a urinary incontinence management device.

Talli is a reusable sensor that sits on the outside of any commercially available incontinence product, which wirelessly alerts caregivers when wetness is detected.

This real-time, remote incontinence monitoring product improves resident comfort, increases caregiver efficiency, and lowers cost of care by decreasing related health conditions and complications.

Sensassure has piloted talli in senior living communities across North America, and has signed up Revera, Canada’s leading senior living provider, as their first customer.

The Sensassure Team

Sensassure was founded by Sameer Dhar and Tim Ahong in 2014. Sameer, with a background in finance and business operations, and Tim, a background in hardware and software development, met while participating in the Next 36, a national tech incubator in Toronto, Canada.

They were soon joined by Jeremy Dabor, who brings experience working for translational genomic companies in the U.S. and U.K.

Sensassure’s SmartPatch attaches to the outside of any adult brief, giving caregivers insight into when a resident has or may have had an episode of incontinence.
