Mark Mian is the founder of Automatic Future, a brand design studio that helps companies envision and articulate the full social potential of their innovations.
He is also Director of Branding at 10x Management, a technology and talent agency representing the world’s top independent technologists. His work includes strategic brand visioning and planning, and creative direction of brand communications.
The son of a literature professor and an aeronautics engineer, Mark applies a natural talent for finding the soul in the machine and humanizing technology.
He began his career at the world’s foremost branding agency, Interbrand, in 2000, at the epicenter of the tech boom in San Francisco.
Combining nearly 15 years experience in tech branding with a background in cognitive neuroscience, arts & humanities and coaching world-class athletes, Mark brings an ambitiously humanistic approach to preparing brands to face the world and inspire the times. He develops brands for longterm social relevance, discovering how each company may lead as a socially-conscious agent of change, and relate meaningfully to its audiences – from customers to investors, partners and press.
