Focused on creating novel solutions to seemingly intractable problems and development of new product categories. Extensive experience in consumer and medical device development. Body of work spans flight hardware for the Space Shuttle, GPS systems for Trimble Navigation, developing surgical hardware and procedures, children’s toothbrushes for Oral-B, messenger bags for Timbuk2, the drop-box of the future for FedEx, internet-enabled bicycle locks, body armor and wearable computing technology for the US military, and device design for numerous start-ups.
Previously was Partner and Director of Design for Praxis Product Design. Projects contributed to have received awards including IDEA, Red Dot, Good Design, Fast Company, CNN 10: Innovations, etc. Made the crash reel qualifying for the North American Freeskiing Championships in 2007.
