Alexander is an award-winning design leader, educator, and advisor with over 15 years of experience in creating integrated brand, product, and service experiences -- ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
A MetaDesign & Method alumnus, he had the opportunity to lead projects for renowned brands such as Audi, Adobe, Bombardier, Bosch, d.light, Deutsche Telekom, General Electric, Samsung, Silicon Valley Bank, Salesforce, and Volkswagen.
Alexander is an Associate Partner at Futuredraft – an experience design consultancy that solves ambiguous design problems quickly using co-creation.
In addition to his professional practice Alexander serves as an Adjunct Professor on the faculty of California College of the Arts (CCA), teaching the pioneering Experience Design studios in both the Interaction Design BFA and Design Strategy MBA programs.
Prior to joining Futuredraft Alexander served as VP Global Design at d.light, an Acumen & Omidyar Network funded d.school born global social impact enterprise, where he built & led the global design innovation team that launched the world’s most affordable high quality solar-powered light in July 2015 – the product was recognized & endorsed by President Obama during his recent visit to Kenya.
