Our playset lets children program connected toys and objects without the need for literacy or screen devices.
The Cubetto Playset is today used by hundreds of parents, educators and schools to introduce programming to thousands of children. Primo shipped 800 units to 46 countries with thousands more in pre-orders to be delivered in 2016.
In 2013, impending fatherhood was motivating Filippo Yacob to think about modern education, and Matteo Loglio had just completed a Master’s thesis focusing on early learning tools at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland.
Together, the life-long friends founded Primo with the core belief that programming should be regarded as a basic 21st Century literacy, taught alongside math and reading in early years.
