Ommo
Free your hands in the digital world

Ommo is building a 3D position tracking technology with millimeter precision, capable of tracking motion in any direction, without requiring line of sight. Ommo’s first product is a glove with built-in sensors that enables users to intuitively interact with virtual worlds with their hands. By allowing complete freedom of movement while tracking, Ommo’s technology can create truly immersive AR and VR experiences across a wide range of applications.
The Ommo Team
Ommo was founded in 2015 by Minjie Zheng and Farshad Memarzanjany. Minjie has a dual degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis. Before Ommo, he was a software engineer at Riot Games on the team responsible for scaling the backend platform to support tens of millions of active players. Farshad was previously engineering director at SAA Co in Iran. He has over 21 years of experience designing and shipping low-power embedded devices ranging from medical equipments and police radar guns to industrial smart meters.
